Concealed-Weapon Licenses Fast-Tracked for the Military

Florida, which already has the most concealed-weapon licenses in the nation, is now fast-tracking the process for active-duty military members and honorably discharged veterans.

Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam announced Monday that active and retired service members will immediately begin to get top priority when applying for the licenses.

The expedited process is part of the state's reaction to a shooting rampage in Tennessee in which four Marines and a sailor were killed on July 16.

Senate Candidate Todd Wilcox: GOP Voters 'Fed Up With Career Politicians'

Businessman and Army veteran Todd Wilcox, now running in the Republican primary to replace U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., finished up a tour of the Sunshine State at the end of last week and said his bid was picking up steam.

Alan Grayson, D-Fla., with whom she has been romantically linked. Minning had been rumored to launch a congressional bid for weeks now, even as liberal activist Susannah Randolph, a former Grayson staffer, entered the race. Grayson is running for the Democratic nomination to replace U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., in 2016.

In a remarkable turnaround, America now has a surplus of energy resources, most notably the shale gas, which has energized the industry.

We are in the middle of an American energy boom. Our future is bright if we can rein in overly-burdensome government regulations.

As a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, my colleagues and I are working to quickly transform the scarcity mindset into a surplus approach.

Adam Putnam Expedites Concealed Weapons Permits for Military Personnel, Veterans

On Monday, Florida  Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam said the state Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will expedite concealed weapons permits for active duty military personnel and for veterans.
