Senate Candidate Todd Wilcox: GOP Voters 'Fed Up With Career Politicians'
Businessman and Army veteran Todd Wilcox, now running in the Republican primary to replace U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., finished up a tour of the Sunshine State at the end of last week and said his bid was picking up steam.
“I am encouraged by the feedback I received while touring the state of Florida," Wilcox said on Monday.
Wilcox said, unlike his primary foes, he had the advantage of being out of politics.
“It is clear from the fellow Republicans I spoke with that there is a consistent theme; they are fed up with career politicians,” Wilcox said. “I look forward to meeting more of the voters and Republican Party leaders of the great state of Florida to hear from them as I continue to share my message of restoring America’s prominence."
