Adam Putnam Expedites Concealed Weapons Permits for Military Personnel, Veterans
On Monday, Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam said the state Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will expedite concealed weapons permits for active duty military personnel and for veterans.
“The men and women who serve and have served our country deserve all of the support we can provide,” Putnam said on Monday. “We are pleased to expedite active military members and veterans’ applications for a concealed weapon license, and our partnership with tax collectors throughout the state will make this process even more convenient.”
After a jihadist gunman killed four Marines and a Navy officer in Chatanooga earlier this month, Putnam called for more security for military personnel and veterans, including expediting firearms permits.
