Ted Cruz Wins Brent Bozell's Endorsement

Brent Bozell, the president of the Conservative Victory Committee, announced in a Web video on Friday that he is backing U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, for the Republican presidential nomination.

Cate Communications Expands, Brings in Unknown Media

Tallahassee based Cate Communications announced on Thursday night in a Web video on Thursday night that it had brought Unknown Media, a digital media company located in Orlando, into the fold. 

“We’re building a public relations and advertising firm that is awake and unafraid,” Kevin Cate announces in the video. 

Cate, one of the leading Democratic communications operatives in Florida, also notes in the video that his team is growing, with expanded operations across the Sunshine State and in Washington, D.C.

Just when you thought nobody could make Chris Christie look tea party, who comes strolling into the room but Ohio Gov. John Kasich -- the 16th (and let's hope final) major Republican candidate in the 2016 presidential election. 

I'll bet you knew Kasich leaned a little left of the GOP party line, but did you know what a cheerleader he's become for Obamacare and Medicaid expansion? All he needs is the pompoms, the megaphone and the uniform.

Jimmie Smith, R-Inverness, and Larry Ahearn, R-Seminole.

Courts Grapple with Dependency Pleas from Undocumented Teens

In a type of case it said has become increasingly common, a South Florida appeals court Wednesday rejected a legal-dependency request for a Guatemalan teen who entered the United States as an undocumented immigrant.

The ruling by the 4th District Court of Appeal in a Palm Beach County case came a week after another appeals court rejected similar dependency requests for teens from El Salvador and Honduras.
