Democrats Don't Have Candidate Against David Jolly, DCCC Backs NPA Candidate

In-State Tuition Bill Heads to Rick Scott

A bill to offer in-state tuition rates to the children of undocumented immigrants passed through the Florida House on Friday, its last stop before heading to Gov. Rick Scott for signing.

HB 851, sponsored byRep. Jeanette Nuz, R-Miami,passed by a vote of 84-32.

The passage would make Florida the 21st state to offer in-state tuition rates for Dreamers and the bill would cost Florida colleges and universities around $49 million.

RPOF: Florida Dems Should Cut Partisan Spin on Tuition Bill
