A Newsmax/InsiderAdvantage Flash Poll conducted immediately after Wednesday's presidential debate finds that Mitt Romney won by a significant margin,52 percent to Obama's 45 percent. Pollster Matt Towery says "the results largely followed party lines, but independents broke in favor of Romney, moving the dial in his favor." The poll sampled 373 likely voters nationwide, with a margin of error of 5 points.

The next meeting of the Task Force on Citizen Safety and Protection, formed in the wake of the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman shooting in Sanford and reviewing the state's 'Stand Your Ground' law, is set for Oct. 16 in Jacksonville.
