‘Stand Your Ground’ Task Force Heads to Jacksonville

The next meeting of the Task Force on Citizen Safety and Protection, formed in the wake of the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman shooting in Sanford and reviewing the state's 'Stand Your Ground' law, is set for Oct. 16 in Jacksonville.

The meeting, to begin at 9 a.m. and have public comment starting at 1 p.m., will be held at the Edward Waters College, Adams-Jenkins Community Sports & Music Complex.
