After weeks of trying to get Alex Sink to answer questions about her own accountability in the much-ballyhooed Tallahassee Taj Mahal, Sink and her campaign finally allowed the question after a rally at Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth.

The latest Rasmussen national telephone survey, released Thursday, finds that 65 percent of likely American voters say if they had a chance on Election Day, they would vote to get rid of the whole kit and kaboodle in Congress -- every member -- and start again.

The Rick Scott campaign just posted a new video on YouTube. It features Hardball's Chris Matthews pointing out how Alex Sink lied to him the night before on his program, and shows the boosted audio from CNN. In the over-the-shoulder graphic near Matthews' head it reads, 'Text, Lies and Videotape.'

With news emerging Thursday that he would appear on the cover of Time magazine, former House Speaker Marco Rubio, the Republican and leading candidate in the race for the U.S. Senate, continued reaching out to voters in North Florida. He attended events in the Panhandle on Wednesday and headed to Orange Park, Lake City and Ocala on Thursday. Rubio will focus on Central Florida during the weekend
Proclaiming "We're way ahead in the polls," an ebullient Rick Scott began another leg of his bus trip across Florida today.
Making his first stop in Vero Beach, the Republican gubernatorial candidate took verbal swings at the state capital.
"You don't become a genius because you're in Tallahassee. Local governments make much better decisions," Scott told a crowd of about 200 well-wishers who gathered for his 8 a.m. appearance.
Accompanied by family and lieutenant governor candidate Jennifer Carroll, Scott appeared loose and confident, but not cocky.
