Rock Icon Ted Nugent Backs Rich Nugent for Congress

Hernando County Sheriff Rich Nugent unveiled the backing of rock legend Ted Nugent for his bid for Congress. Rich Nugent is the Republican congressional candidate in the race to replace retiring U.S. Ginny Brown-Waite.

I am honored and humbled that Ted Nugent would send his support to my campaign, said Rich Nugent. "Ted is a great man who has given so much of himself to our service men and women.My oldest son had an opportunity to see Ted perform just a few months ago and said that Ted puts on a great, high-energy show.

"We may not be related by blood, but we are brothers-in-arms, added the candidate. We both want to see Americas economy back on track, Americans back to work, and our country fully supporting our men and women in uniform. Ted Nugent is more than a great name, he's a great American.
