Running for the Republican nomination to challenge U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham, D-Fla., Dr. Neal Dunn, a urologist from Panama City, unveiled a major endorsement on Monday as former Florida Senate President Don Gaetz, R-Niceville, announced his support. 

Over the next two weeks, fiscal conservative group Americans for Prosperity (AFP) will be running TV and online ads across the Sunshine State, praising legislators who opposed the proposed Medicaid expansion that was backed by the Florida Senate. 

Trying to catch businessman Donald Trump in the Republican presidential primaries, former Gov. Mike Huckabee took aim at Common Core standards over the weekend.

State Attorney  Jeff Siegmeister endorsed Tallahassee attorney Mary Thomas for Congress on Thursday. 

Siegmeister noted they were both members of the Federalist Society, a group of conservative attorneys. 

Thomas is running for the seat currently held by U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham, D-Fla., which should be expected greatly by redistricting.
