Carlos Curbelo Welcomes New Addition to SOUTHCOM in Homestead

U.S. Rep. Carlos Curbelo, R-Fla., cheered the news that the Navy was moving  the Office of Naval Special Warfare Unit FOUR (NSWU-4), to Homestead.  According to the congressman’s office, NSWU-4 will focus on planning, coordinating, and executing special operations within Southern Command (SOUTHCOM)’s area of operations."

“Homestead has a rich military history and I am proud to welcome Naval Special Warfare Unit FOUR to our South Florida community,” Curbelo said on Thursday. “I thank the sailors for the protection their bravery affords our nation, and look forward to visiting with them and their families very soon.”
