Rick Scott Announces Logistics Company Moves HQ to Orlando
On Wednesday, Gov. Rick Scott announced that logistics company National Air Cargo Holdings Inc. will relocate its corporate headquarters from Michigan to Orlando, creating 105 new jobs over a two-year period. National Airlines, a subsidiary of National Air Cargo Holdings, will also relocate to Orlando.

Rick Scott Targets Missouri Businesses to Move to Florida
Gov. Rick Scott is urging businesses based in Missouri to head to Florida. With Gov. Jay Nixon vetoing $700 million in tax cuts, Scott is calling for businesses to move from the Show Me State to the Sunshine State.
According to a ranking of business-friendly climate by the Tax Foundation, Missouri ranks 16th in the country while Florida is one of the top five performing states, Scott said on Wednesday. And its unlikely to get better for Missouri, as we just saw Governor Nixon veto a $700 million tax cut for individuals and businesses.

School Should Start After Labor Day, Majority of Americans Say in Poll
A new poll shows a majority of American adults believe schools should not open until after Labor Day. Some schools across Florida and the nation kicked off their school year earlier this month.
A Rasmussen Reports poll released on Wednesday finds a majority -- 53 percent -- of those surveyed think the school year should start after Labor Day while 36 percent want the school year to begin before it and 11 percent are undecided.
The poll of 1,000 American adults was taken from Aug. 24-25 and had a margin of error of +/- 3 percent.

Barack Obama doesn't get it, West wrote in an email sent out to supporters. He doesn't know how or when to use military force and his on-the-job training as commander in chief is embarrassing all of us. Obama is stumbling toward military action in Syria. He drew a red line on chemical weapons use and Syria crossed it. We did nothing and it badly wounded our credibility. Not surprisingly, they used chemical weapons again ... but now we are forced to act.
