National and state flags will be at half-staff Friday across Florida for Neil Armstrong. Gov. Rick Scott ordered the flags lowered at all local and state buildings, installations and grounds in honor of Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, who died Aug. 25. Scotts order follows a proclamation from President Obama to lower national flags at all federal facilities.

More bus troubles has resulted in some groggy Florida delegates at the Fresh From Florida breakfast at Innisbrook Resort and Gulf Club. After the buses didnt immediately arrive to pick up the delegates to take them to the Republican National Convention, Tuesday afternoon, another mix up resulted in some delegates not getting back to the resort in Palm Harbor until 3 a.m. Im just glad Im in charge of the breakfast, not the bus service, said Agriculture Commission Adam Putnam. Someone is really trying to punish us.
