Clint Eastwood to Speak at the GOP Convention

Organizers of the Republican National Convention hope the former mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California will help make the day for the GOPs Presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Oscar-winning director and actor Clint Eastwood, who has endorsed Romney, will hit the stage Thursday as a mystery speaker, according to The Hill.

The man-with-no-name in spaghetti westerns who later dispensed justice as Dirty Harry, Eastwood served as mayor of the small Carmel-by-the Sea in the late 1980s.
