A SurveyUSA poll taken for WFLA shows former Gov. Charlie Crist has slipped into the lead over Gov. Rick Scott. The poll shows Crist ahead 44 percent to 42 percent. Two weeks ago, a Survey USA poll had Scott leading 42 percent to 40 percent. WFLA noted the margin of error was 4.2 percent but has not released crosstabs or even the numbers of voters surveyed. Despite being the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), a new poll shows U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., in poor shape if she runs for the U.S. Senate in 2016. A poll from Dem-affiliated Public Policy Polling (PPP) shows U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., beating Wasserman Schultz 48 percent to 40 percent in a possible 2016 matchup. If Rubio opts not to run for a second term, Wasserman Schultz still trails another Republican -- former U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., who edges her 41 percent to 40 percent.

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi gets mixed marks in a new poll from Public Policy Polling (PPP), a firm with connections to prominent Democrats, but she still beats out her two Democratic rivals. The poll finds 29 percent of Florida voters approve of Bondi while the same percentage disapprove of her. However, 42 percent of those surveyed are not sure what they think of Bondi.

A new poll from Public Policy Polling (PPP), a firm with connections to prominent Democrats, shows President Barack Obama is under water in Florida despite carrying the state twice. The poll finds a majority of those surveyed -- 53 percent -- disapprove of Obama. Only 41 percent approve of Obama. The poll of 672 Florida voters was taken from June 6-9 and had a margin of error of +/- 3.8 percent.

A new poll from Public Policy Polling (PPP), a firm with connections to prominent Democrats, finds Amendment 2, allowing more medical marijuana use in Florida, in excellent shape. The poll finds 66 percent of those surveyed support it while only 25 percent oppose it. The amendment needs 60 percent on the November ballot to pass. The poll finds Floridians of all ages support the amendment though seniors support it less with only 58 percent of them backing it. Republicans are split on the proposal with 44 percent backing it while 42 percent oppose it.

Charlie Crist and the race is now a dead heat with both candidates garnering 42 percent. An April poll from PPP had Crist leading 49 percent to 42 percent.
