
Pam Bondi Gets Mixed Marks in New Poll But Leads Dem Rivals
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi gets mixed marks in a new poll from Public Policy Polling (PPP), a firm with connections to prominent Democrats, but she still beats out her two Democratic rivals.
The poll finds 29 percent of Florida voters approve of Bondi while the same percentage disapprove of her. However, 42 percent of those surveyed are not sure what they think of Bondi.
Bondi takes 38 percent when matched against former DCF Secretary George Sheldon who follows with 35 percent while 27 percent are undecided. Bondi goes better when matched against House Minority Leader Perry Thurston, D-Fort Lauderdale, beating him 40 percent to 33 percent while 28 percent are undecided.
The poll of 672 Florida voters was taken from June 6-9 and had a margin of error of +/- 3.8 percent.
