Ted Yoho Measure, Stopping Feds from Tracking Americans Via GPS, Passes

U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho, R-Fla., scored a win on Tuesday as he added an amendment, which Congress accepted, to the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act (THUD). Yohos amendment would ensure the federal government does not fund tracking civilian vehicles through GPS and other methods.

My amendment protects individuals' privacy and avoids the slippery slope of government knowing where you are at all times, Yoho said. Government surveillance has run rampant and this is just another check against any infringement on your personal liberties.
