Barney Bishop to Debate the Need for Gun Legislation on Miami TV Sunday
Barney Bishop, former president and CEO of Associated Industries of Florida and self-descibed serial entrepreneur, will debate an unnamed "Democratic lawmaker" on a Miami TV station Sunday. The subject: gun control legislation.
"You’ve written a strong, persuasive column on why new gun control legislation isn’t needed," Michael Putney, senior political reporter at WPLG-TV, Channel 10, wrote Bishop in an email. Putney was referring to "Banning Guns Won't Solve Our Problem," Bishop's guest column published Friday in Sunshine State News.
