Florida Environmental Groups Come Out Against Amendments 3 and 4
The Florida Current reportsthatseveral environmental groups are opposing, or considering whether to oppose, two measures appearing on the ballot in November: the Florida State Revenue Limitation Amendment (Amendment 3) and the Florida Property Tax Amendment (Amendment 4).
1000 Friends of Florida, Audubon Florida, and Sierra Club Floridaare each expressing concerns that the amendments will limit state revenue to various environmental programs.

Rick Scott to Review Impact of Oyster Decline in Apalachicola Bay
Gov. Rick Scott is heading to Apalachicola Bay on Wednesday to inspect the area impacted by the decline in oyster and other fisheries.
Scott is scheduled to be at the Franklin County Fire Station in East Point around 1:15 p.m. to talk with county officials and residents.
