
Don't Lose Track: Florida's 2012 Election Calendar
With about a month until Election Day, you might want to keep this calendar of important dates handy:
Oct. 2: First day of mailing for Vote by Mail. If you are registered for it, you should get your ballot in the mail this week.
Oct. 3: First presidential debate. It's on PBS.
Oct. 9: Last day to register to vote for the Nov. 6 general election.
Oct. 11: Only vice presidential debate. It's on ABC.
Oct. 16: Second presidential debate, town hall format, on CNN.
Oct. 22: Third presidential debate. This one is in Boca Raton on foreign policy. It's on CBS.
Oct. 27: First day of early voting in Florida.
Oct. 31: Last day you can request a mail-in ballot.
Nov. 6: Election Day. All mail-in ballots must be received by 7 p.m. at your supervisor of elections office.
