EPA: Florida Needs $16.5 Billion in Drinking Water Infrastructure by 2030

Can we now please talk about drinking water and where the money's going to come from to make sure it's there for our children and grandchildren?

A new EPA survey shows the nation needs $384 billion to assure its water infrastructure is up to par to provide potable water by 2030.

Marco Rubio Launches Constitutional Amendment Against Obama's Health-Care Law

On Tuesday, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., who is considered one of the leading Republican presidential hopefuls in 2016, called for a constitutional amendment to push back against President Barack Obamas federal health-care law.

Obama's Approval Rating on Gun Control Plummets

Nearly half of voters think President Obama's doing a poor job at handling gun control, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll released Tuesday. Only 37 percent of voters give Obama positive reviews for the way he's handling gun control as opposed to the 46 percent of voters who give him a poor rating.

The president's poor approval numbers have been climbing over the past few months. They were 34 percent in February and have climbed 13 points since then.

Rick Scott Signs National Mortgage Settlement Funding Bill

On Tuesday morning, Gov. Rick Scott signed into law SB 1852. The new law authorizes funding from the National Mortgage Settlement to go to state agencies working on housing and foreclosure issues.

Allen West Jabs Obama as Book Release Draws Near

Former Congressman Allen West continues to remain in the national spotlight -- and he is gearing up for a book tour.

West took to Facebook on Tuesday morning and informed his followers that he had finished writing a book. We now move into the editing phase, which we have been doing chapter by chapter as I completed writing, West wrote. The book will present my thoughts as a man, a warrior, my political philosophy, being a black conservative, and my vision for the republic as an American statesman.

Mike Huckabee Urges Conservatives to Back Common Core Standards

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who ran for the Republican presidential nomination back in 2008, came out swinging on Tuesday in defense of Common Core Standards in education. He sent a letter to lawmakers in Oklahoma, urging them to support Common Core.

Its disturbing to me there have been criticisms of these standards directed by other conservatives including the RNC, Huckabee wrote. The truth of the matter is, these criticisms are short-sighted.
