NSA Says It Can't Search Through Its Own Emails

The National Security Agency, which recently came under fire for a widespread surveillance program of millions of people all over the world, is apparently not as up-to-date with its email system as it is with its spying programs.

Justin Elliott of ProPublica requested documents unrelated to the surveillance program last week, but was told the agency doesn't have the technology to do a simple search of its own employees' email.

More celebrities are joining musician Stevie Wonder in boycotting Florida after the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the death of Trayvon Martin, according to news reports. Several high-profile celebrities have reportedly joined Wonder in boycotting Florida, including Jay-Z, Kanye West and Madonna.

Voters Rate Obama Administration's Response to IRS Poorly

American voters still aren't convinced President Obama and his administration were unaware of the Internal Revenue Service's targeting of tea party and other conservative groups.

A new poll shows 59 percent of likely American voters think it's at least somewhat likely the president and his top aides knew about the targeting of conservative groups. That number includes 38 percent of voters who believe it's very likely the president or his top aides knew of the rogue IRS activity. Only 32 percent consider that unlikely.

President Obama's 'Stand Your Ground' Hypocrisy

President Barack Obama would have a lot more credibility as he arm-twists the 31 states with Stand Your Ground laws if he would just admit he was wrong in 2004 when he co-sponsored a bill that strengthened his own state's Stand Your Ground law.

Just say it, Mr. President: "I sponsored bad law."

UNESCO honoring Che Guevara Draws Fire from Ileana Ros-Lehtinen

Last week, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced that the writings of Ernesto Che Guevara, one of the leaders of the Communist Revolution in Cuba, would be included in the Memory of the World Register -- and a congresswoman from Florida is not happy about it. Less than 300 collections of documents and manuscripts are listed under the Memory of the World Register.

Ron Paul Group Warns Obama and Harry Reid Plan to 'Ram Gun Control Through the Senate'

The Campaign for Liberty, which is chaired by former Congressman Ron Paul, continues to sound the alarm that Democrats in Washington are planning to ramp up gun control measures -- and that Senate Republicans are enabling them. USF Grad Students Petition to Exhume Bodies at Dozier

Graduate students at the University of South Florida are petitioning Secretary of State Ken Detzner to exhume bodies at the Dozier School for Boys in Marianna. Detzner recently rejected the USF team of researchers' petition for permission to exhume bodies at the school, which has become notorious in recent years for allegations of physical abuse, rape, and even murder.

In a letter to the research team, Detzner explained his department does not have the legal authority to authorize the exhumation process, but USF researchers believe he does.

Marco Rubio's Struggles in Iowa Get National Attention

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubios, R-Fla., support of immigration reform in the Senate is hurting his chances for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016. Robert Costa over at National Review headed out to Iowa, home of the first caucus, and asked conservatives what they thought of Rubio and found increasing disenchantment with the junior senator from Florida due to his stance on immigration reform.
