Ron Paul Group Warns Obama and Harry Reid Plan to 'Ram Gun Control Through the Senate'

The Campaign for Liberty, which is chaired by former Congressman Ron Paul, continues to sound the alarm that Democrats in Washington are planning to ramp up gun control measures -- and that Senate Republicans are enabling them. The Campaign for Liberty sent out a follow-up email late Monday, much like one they released on Friday on the topic.

Emboldened by John McCain's weak-kneed Cut and Run Caucus, the gun-grabbers have intensified their behind-the-scenes lobbying efforts while ratcheting up the pressure on key U.S. senators, the Campaign for Liberty wrote. And according to inside sources, President Obama and Harry Reid have a trick up their sleeve to ram gun control through the Senate.

Major assaults on our Second Amendment rights could be just around the corner, the group added.
