This week, two members of the Florida delegation unveiled a proposal to have the U.S. Commerce Department “issue regulations prohibiting the use of sunscreen containing oxybenzone or octinoxate in a National Marine Sanctuary in which coral is present, and for other purposes.”

 

It’s time to stop applauding the efforts of union-funded special interests -- masquerading as “teachers” --- working to deny students the opportunity to pursue their dreams. 

 

We all have fond memories of a teacher who changed our lives. The FEA knows this and is exploiting our love for teachers to bully legislators and suppress the will of families for one reason: MONEY. Specifically, the money they collect from hard-working Florida teachers. Now they are using this money to run a self-proclaimed “six figure campaign” against Florida families.

 

Two Republicans representing North Florida in Congress--U.S. Reps. Ted Yoho and Mike Waltz--are championing a proposal to expedite natural gas exports, insisting their bill will help the First Coast. 

 

Yoho brought out the “Small Scale LNG Access Act” on Monday which “will expedite the approval of natural gas exports equal to or less than 51.1 billion cubic feet per year.” Waltz is cosponsoring the bill.
