
Marc Caputo to CNN: Bye, Little Stevie Wonder
Appearing in a brief Wolf Blitzer interview on CNN early Wednesday afternoon, Miami Herald reporter Marc Caputo was asked to respond to the news that singer Stevie Wonder would not appear in Florida again until the state repeals its "Stand Your Ground" initiative.
Florida isn't going to do that, Caputo told CNN's audience. It has a Republican Legislature, a Republican governor and they favor the law as it's written. "I don't think we'll be seeing Stevie Wonder in Florida ever again," he said.

Florida Institute of Technology Planning 'World Class' Research Center
Melbourne-based Florida Institute of Technology has announced it will turn a former NASA tracking site in Vero Beach into a marine research center.
The private college is raising money for the $10 million, 20,000-square-foot project planned for completion within four years.
