Mitt Romney Leads Rick Santorum in Wisconsin Poll

Wisconsin holds a primary on Tuesday and a new poll shows that Mitt Romney has a solid lead over Rick Santorum in the Badger State.

A poll of likely primary voters from Public Policy Polling, a firm with connections to prominent Democrats, shows Romney leading with 43 percent followed by Santorum with 36 percent. Ron Paul stands in third with 11 percent followed by Newt Gingrich in single digits with 8 percent.

The poll of 609 likely Wisconsin Republican primary voters was taken March 31-April 1 and had a margin of error of +/- 4 percent.

Mitt Romney Leading Big in Maryland Poll

With Maryland holding its Republican presidential primary on Tuesday, a poll unveiled on Monday shows that Mitt Romney is headed to a big win in the Old Line State.

A poll from Public Policy Polling, a firm with connections to prominent Democrats, shows Romney is set to win with 52 percent followed by Rick Santorum with 27 percent. Newt Gingrich stands in third with 10 percent followed by Ron Paul with 9 percent.

Maryland -- along with the District of Columbia and Wisconsin -- holds its Republican presidential primary on Tuesday and all signs indicate that Mitt Romney will take most of the 37 delegates that the Old State Line will be sending to the Republican convention in Tampa come August.

Rasmussen: Majority Thinks Supreme Court Will Rule Against Obamacare

A poll released on Thursday finds that most likely voters think that the Supreme Court will overturn the federal health-care law that President Barack Obama signed in 2010. While 50 percent of those surveyed think the law should be overturned, 54 percent think the court, which listened to three days of oral arguments this week as Florida and 25 other states offered a constitutional challenge to the law, will strike it down. While 37 percent of those surveyed want to see the law upheld, only 26 percent think it will be.

Bill Nelson Jumps Ahead of Connie Mack in New Q-Poll

U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., has jumped ahead of potential Republican challenger U.S. Rep. Connie Mack in a poll from Quinnipiac University released Thursday morning. Nelson takes 44 percent to Mack's 36 percent. Two polls taken earlier by Quinnipiac showed a dead heat, with Nelson leading by 2 percent in November and by 1 percent in January.

Rasmussen Poll: Most Americans Undecided on George Zimmerman's Fate in Trayvon Martin Case

A poll from Rasmussen Reports unveiled on Wednesday finds that most Americans are unsure about what happened in the Trayvon Martin shooting in Sanford last month and what George Zimmermans fate will be.

According to the poll, 33 percent of those surveyed think Zimmerman will be found guilty of murdering Martin while 15 percent think the legal proceedings will reveal that Zimmerman acted in self-defense. But a majority -- 52 percent -- are not sure of what will happen.

The poll of 1,000 American adults was taken March 26-27 and had a margin of error of +/- 3 percent.

Mitt Romney Closes in on Rick Santorum in Pennsylvania

According to a new poll, Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is closing in on GOP rival Rick Santorum in his own backyard -- delegate-rich Pennsylvania. The Keystone State, which will bring 72 delegates to the Republican convention in Tampa come August, holds its primary on April 24 along with four other states in the region -- Connecticut, Delaware, New York and Rhode Island.
