RPOF Revives 'Empty Chair Charlie' Attack on Charlie Crist
The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) shows no signs of slowing down its attacks on former Gov. Charlie Crist, a former Republican who joined the Democrats in 2012 and is expected to run for his new partys gubernatorial nomination. On Thursday afternoon, the RPOF unveiled the relaunching of a website which was created by the Florida Democratic Party in 2008 to attack Crist who was then being considered by John McCains campaign for the vice presidential spot on the Republican ticket.

Obamacare Author Foresees 'Train Wreck' for Law
A Democratic senator who helped write Obama's health care administration law is openly saying the program is headed for a 'train wreck' due to problematic implementation.
"I just see a huge train wreck coming down," said Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., on Wednesday.
Baucus is the first to express doubts and fears about the new health care law, which is supposed to give coverage to nearly 30 million Americans without health insurance. The program will provide tax credits for private insurance that will begin next year.

Edward Snowden's been warned by Russian President Vladimir Putin that engaging in any activities that would endanger U.S.-Russian relations is "unacceptable." Snowden, a former contractor for the National Security Agency, has caused quite a bit of controversy since leaking information of a secret surveillance program in which the NSA had been spying on millions of Americans and on people all over the world.

Bill Galvano's Race for Senate President Gains Steam
The Bradenton Herald is reporting that Bill Galvano is well on his way to locking up the presidency of the Florida Senate in 2018.
According to Sen. Nancy Detert, R-Venice, Galvano already holds signed pledges from most of his large Senate class. The Bradenton senator is eligible to serve 10 consecutive years in the Senate despite term limits because of redistricting.
