Allen West Blasts Jesse Jackson and Liberals for Putting Politics Above Black Community

Former U.S. Rep. Allen West ripped civil rights leaders late on Thursday, insisting they turned the 50th anniversary celebration of the March on Washington to a partisan event.

Yesterday on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, head of the National Urban League, Marc Morial, stated that white sheets had been turned into white button-down collar shirts, West posted on Facebook. And Jesse Jackson compared the constitutional conservative grassroots movement, the tea party, to the Confederacy. Really?

Shamed Into War?

WASHINGTON -- Having leaked to the world, and thus to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a detailed briefing of the coming U.S. air attack on Syria -- (1) the source (offshore warships and perhaps a bomber or two), (2) the weapon (cruise missiles), (3) the duration (two or three days), (4) the purpose (punishment, not "regime change") -- perhaps we should be publishing the exact time the bombs will fall, lest we disrupt dinner in Damascus.

Ray Pilon Adds Name to List of Blaise Ingoglia Supporters

Rep. Ray Pilon, R-Sarasota, has added his name to a long list of supporters for state representative hopeful Blaise Ingoglia. Ingoglia has his sights set on the House District 35 seat, which covers most of Hernando County.

Teens in Gulfport Bus Beating Plead Guilty

Three teenagers who brutally beat a 13-year-old boy on a school bus pleaded guilty to aggravated battery in juvenile court on Thursday. A third teenager also pleaded guilty to robbery.

The victim in the case was attending summer school at Lealman Intermediate School when he was approached by two of the boys, who asked him if he wanted to buy marijuana. The victim told a teacher, and was later beaten by the two boys who were sitting behind him on the school bus.
