Gov. Rick Scott wasted no time in replacing Aramis Ayala as the prosecutor in the Markeith Loyd murder case after she announced that she would seek life without the chance of parole instead of the death penalty.

Every time Aramis Ayala prosecutes a case from now on, she should publicly ask Gov. Rick Scott what the sentence should be.

What is it with Democrats and emails? We seem to get caught up in something that should be so simple to navigate.

Let's face it, the establishment wing of the Democratic Party cares about two things: its position and its power, and there was no way in hell it was going to let anyone come between it and what it has torn down the party all these years to get.

I was wondering why, on Feb. 15, the FDP sent out a press release detailing the accomplishments of Stephen Bittel's first 30 days as chair of the party.

February brings Black History Month, and we will see a lot of pictures of Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, and so many other black civil rights icons from the Florida Democratic Party. This is the month the black community will get a lot of verbal love from the FDP.

Is new Democratic Chair Stephen Bittel wearing blinders? It appears that's the case,  because his $100,000 program recently rolled out to incentivize voter registration only includes small and medium Florida counties (read: working-class white voters).

Stephen Bittel succeeded in buying his way into the FDP chair position. He conned people -- enough of them, anyway -- into believing money will win elections.

Donald Trump says he will make America great again. Well, not to be outdone, Stephen Bittel is going to make the Florida Democratic Party great again folks!

We like to refer to ourselves as the "big tent" party. We say there is room for everyone within the Democratic Party.
