Let's face it, Debbie Wasserman Schultz has a history of interfering in party politics. She put her thumb on the scale in two races that we know of.

Mrs. Buttinsky Wasserman Schultz tipped the scales in favor of Allison Tant in 2013, sending the Florida Democratic Party to wander the desert since. The party has been beaten like it stole something in every race that mattered. It is totally irrelevant at this point. 

Despite the Florida Democratic Party providing President Barack Obama with a list of Democratic legislative candidates that included Lisa Montelione running for House District 63, the Hillsborough County Democratic Black Caucus said not so fast.

The St. Petersburg branch of the NAACP staged a debate this past Saturday to allow black residents to familiarize themselves with the candidates in newly drawn Congressional District 13, and to allow the candidates to familiarize themselves with the residents and the issues that concern them.

Good Grief! I thought after 2014, black folks would have seen the last of the snake Chain Gang Charlie Crist slithering through our churches, slobbering on our kids and pretending to be Frederick Douglass reincarnated.

There used to be an old saying: "Bullets don't have eyes" -- which means anyone can get hit by a bullet once it's fired from a gun. 

Hold on President Obama! We love you and all, but you stepped a little out of turn this weekend while giving your speech at the Congressional Black Caucus Legislative Conference annual Phoenix Dinner.

Remember the video of first-grader Kameria crying hysterically when she found out President Obama soon would be leaving office? Her grandmother, Caprina Harris, uploaded the video to Facebook and it went viral. Eventually, it was seen by President Obama and little Kameria and her family received an invitation to the White House to visit with the President and the First Lady.

You would have to be living under a rock in Florida not to know that I’m the FIRST one to call out racism against Black people. I call out racism so much that I have been called racist myself.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz has made it clear. She would rather do anything than spend time in Congressional District 23. The former chair of the Democratic National Committee used her position as chair to stay away.

She spent much more time outside the district than she did in. There are cities in her district, primarily the ones where minorities live, that NEVER see or hear from her. She chalked that up to being the head of the DNC.

Ok, Debbie, you WERE the head of the DNC. You aren’t anymore.
