After 10 Glorious Years, Sunshine State News and I Are Passing the Baton

You probably can't imagine how much fun I've had at Sunshine State News over the last 10 years. I don't think anybody could.

Since I was first elected to Congress, I have fought to hold government agencies and Washington bureaucrats more accountable to Floridians and all Americans. Unfortunately, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) continues to operate in a manner unaccountable to Congress, the president and American taxpayers.
People who experienced the phenomenon of Charles D. "Pug" Ravenel can't have helped wondering what might have been -- if only he had won.

A recent poll from Mason-Dixon research showed that Florida residents overwhelmingly support vacation rentals. An astonishing 93 percent of respondents believe Florida visitors should be allowed to stay in accommodations other than hotels.

Regardless of the profession, if an individual cannot or will not perform their duties, then they must vacate that position.  Such is the case with State Attorney Aramis Ayala who refuses to pursue any death penalty cases while in office.  In particular, Ayala refused to seek the death penalty for Markeith Loyd who is accused of murdering his pregnant ex-girlfriend Sade Dixon and murdering of Orlando Police Lt. Debra Clayton.
