Twitter Users Re-imagine Bible Verses According to Donald Trump
In a field full of seriousness, Twitter often takes the edge off of American politics by poking fun at our nation's most beloved political celebrities.
After Republican presidential hopeful and quote-machine Donald Trump evaded questions about the Bible in an interview with Bloomberg this week.
Shortly thereafter, a new spinoff hashtag inspired by Trump's interview was born. Twitter users began writing fake Bible verses using the hashtag "#TrumpBible," a tag which still continued to be off and running as of the weekend.
Here are some:
Moses said "Let my people go!" & Pharaoh said "Get Lost!" Whata bum, I woulda got a way better deal, Id'a got people & pyramids #TrumpBible

"Can anything good come out of Nazareth? I mean, I'm sure some of them are good people and all. But mostly we get their worst." #TrumpBible
