You probably can't imagine how much fun I've had at Sunshine State News over the last 10 years. I don't think anybody could.

WASHINGTON -- More than perhaps anyone else in America, David Blankenhorn personifies the struggle so many have experienced over same-sex marriage.
If there is ever a contest for the law with the most grossly misleading title, the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978 should be a prime candidate, because the last thing this Act protects is the welfare of Indian children.
These days, our political parties are defined by their presidents. Their policies and their programs tend to become their respective parties' orthodoxies.
Like California, Florida has beautiful, diverse landscapes. This natural beauty is only surpassed by weather and climates that make both states a destination and a home for millions.
WASHINGTON -- It must be true what they say about women -- that they are smarter, stronger, wiser and wilier than your average Joe.

Former U.S. Rep. Connie Mack IV announced Wednesday that he will not be running for his old seat in Congress, which was vacated this week by Trey Radel.
"In the weeks, months and years ahead I will continue to advocate for our shared principles, not as a candidate or member of Congress, but rather as a private citizen," said Mack in a news release.
Mack held the seat in Congress from 2005 to 2013. He ran for U.S. Senate in 2012 but lost to Bill Nelson.

Republican congressional hopeful David Jolly came out swinging against President Barack Obamas health care law on Tuesday, backing U.S. Sen. Marco Rubios, R-Fla., proposal to ensure taxpayer dollars are not used to bail out insurance companies due to the impact of the law.
