Remember the IRS scandal? It's gone. Poof. So flaccid has press interest in the story become that President Barack Obama made bold in an interview with Fox News to say there was not a "smidgen of corruption" in the IRS's conduct.
Is Barack Obama trying to shift alliances in the Middle East away from traditional allies and toward Iran? Robert Kaplan, author and geopolitical analyst for the Stratford consulting firm, thinks so.
This November voters will have the opportunity to decide whether to allow so-called medical marijuana in Florida.

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Because it is this year's first federal election, attention must be paid to the March 11 voting to fill the congressional seat vacated by the death in October of Florida Republican C.W. "Bill" Young, who served in Congress 43 years. If Democrat Alex Sink wins, the significance will be minimal because she enjoys multiple advantages. Hence if Republican David Jolly prevails, Republicans will construe this as evidence that Barack Obama has become an anvil in the saddle of every Democratic candidate.
As our liberal media continue to obsess over whether Gov. Chris Christie lied about knowing his aides were plotting to cause Bergen County traffic jams, it's worth remembering that our national networks don't care when Democrats lie even about their own life stories.

Florida is a hub for tourists, but just how many have been to the Sunshine State this year?
On Thursday, Gov. Rick Scott announced that, according to preliminary estimates released today by VISIT FLORIDA, 26.7 million visitors came to Florida in the first quarter of 2014 (January-March), an increase of 2 percent over the same period in 2013.
This number is the the largest quarter for visitation Florida has ever experienced, exceeding the previous high of 26.2 million in the first quarter of 2013.

The website is a property purchased by the RPOF after the Florida Democratic Party allowed it to expire. The website contains press releases, quotes, and other materials originally produced by the Florida Democratic Party and Democratic officials.
This is the third site once owned by FDP that now belongs to the RPOF.

Conservative pundit Sean Hannity, best known for his show on Fox News and his syndicated national radio show, will soon be moving to the Sunshine State. Hannity has been talking about leaving high-tax New York for Florida in recent months and, on his radio show on Wednesday, he said he was going to move after his kid finishes high school. Based on previous comments, Hannity is expected to relocate to the Naples area.
"You're soon going to be my senator," Hannity told U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., during an interview with the possible 2016 presidential candidate.

The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council has decided to reduce the window for red snapper season in the Gulf from 40 days to nine days and U.S. Rep. Steve Southerland, R-Fla., is not happy about it.

Gov. Rick Scott will head to Tampa on Thursday to make an announcement on tourism in Florida.
According to a release from the governor's office, Scott will speak at Busch Gardens at 10:30 a.m.
Tourism is a booming business in Florida -- approximately 94.7 million visitors came to the state in 2013, making it a record year for visitation to Florida and exceeding the previous high of 91.5 million in 2012.

A new Web ad from American Bridge released Wednesday morning accused Gov. Rick Scott of dodging "important questions" from the media.
"Time and time again reporters have asked Scott where he stands on key issues, only to have Scott duck and run," reads the description of the video from American Bridge. "Maybe that's because he knows his positions are detrimental to middle-class families in the Sunshine State."
