Rick Scott to Make Tourism Announcement

Gov. Rick Scott will head to Tampa on Thursday to make an announcement on tourism in Florida.

According to a release from the governor's office, Scott will speak at Busch Gardens at 10:30 a.m.

Tourism is a booming business in Florida -- approximately 94.7 million visitors came to the state in 2013, making it a record year for visitation to Florida and exceeding the previous high of 91.5 million in 2012.
