Chris Hudson Replaces Slade O'Brien at Florida AFP
With Slade OBrien leaving his position in charge of Americans for Prosperitys (AFP) Florida operations to take a promotion at the national level, he will be replaced by Chris Hudson.
"Florida has become a model state for enacting policies that spread prosperity by promoting economic freedom and opportunity for every American," said OBrien on Wednesday. "Chris Hudson possesses a wealth of political experience that will serve AFP-Florida well as we continue working to expand economic freedom and opportunity in the Sunshine State and across the country.
"Floridas economic recovery and top ranking for job growth, business climate and affordable cost of living are the result of the types of policies AFP has been promoting, Hudson said. I am grateful for Slades leadership and our entire network of activists for their tremendous work to advance policies of individual liberty and freedom. I am excited to lead this premier grassroots organization as we double down on our efforts to remind Floridas elected officials of their obligation to protect the well-being of every Florida taxpayer.
Hudson, the son of Florida Rep. Matt Hudson, R-Naples, worked as Florida director of government relations for Strategic Advocacy and with the Foundation for Government Accountability. Hudson also led efforts for Florida House Republican campaigns in Central Florida.
