You probably can't imagine how much fun I've had at Sunshine State News over the last 10 years. I don't think anybody could.

Congressman Patrick Murphy still wants colleague and rival Alan Grayson to resign over allegations Grayson "parlayed his post in the House into personal financial gain." That's rich. Especially when you look at Murphy's dirty hands.
When a Republican has been in the presidency for eight years, as George W. Bush was, Democrats run against the Republicans. When a Democrat has been in office for eight years, as Barack Obama will soon have been, Republicans run against Republicans.

Cara Jennings fans, celebrating with high-fives after watching the now-famous video of Jennings' encounter with the governor at a Gainesville Starbucks, are blaming Donald Trump for her outburst.
At a U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on Wednesday, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., stressed the importance of the U.S. commitments to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Japan and South Korea. Rubio said the following:
Less than a year ago, ABC's George Stephanopoulos admitted that he had made $75,000 of undisclosed contributions to the charitable foundation/campaign operation of his former employers, Bill and Hillary Clinton. He then personally pledged he wouldn't moderate a Republican primary debate this year. But ABC News later issued a statement of support for Stephanopoulos, insisting it wouldn't take punitive action against him.

Environmental news in Florida rarely gives us something we can cheer. Finally, happily, an exception.
A glance at the March jobs numbers released last week suggests that the national economy is doing fairly well. Over 200,000 jobs were created and the unemployment rate was virtually unchanged at 5 percent.
