Charlie Crist Arming Himself in Broward With Steve Geller, Bob Butterworth
Two Florida pols who lost their last elections apparently have been hired to put some lipstick on another election loser -- Charlie Crist.
In trying to build his team in Democratic stronghold Broward County, Crist has called on former state Sen. Steve Geller of Cooper City and former Attorney General Bob Butterworth. The idea is to gussy up the former governor and failed U.S. Senate candidate for a 2014 gubernatorial run against Gov. Rick Scott.

Liberal Lawyers Can Wear Tin-Foil Hats Too
Lest you should think it's only the conservatives who produce fringe kooks, tin-foil hatters and all-around nut jobs, take a close look at Tallahassee lawyer Steve Andrews.
Apparently Andrews felt so intimidated -- got so riled up -- because he was on Gov. Rick Scott's Christmas gift list -- ooooo, scary! -- and the gift actually was sent out by the governor's political committee ... well, he felt the need to run to the Tampa Bay Times to "report" his outrage.

Once Union-Dominated Michigan to Become 24th 'Right to Work' State
The power of organized labor in the United States suffered a shocking setback Tuesday when the GOP-majority Michigan Legislature gave its final approval to "right to work" restrictions on public unions.
All of a sudden Michigan, birthplace of the United Auto Workers, the richest U.S. labor union, becomes the 24th state to enact "right to work" provisions.

Sorry, ACU: No Way Is Jack Latvala More Conservative than Joe Negron
If the American Conservative Union is going to rank Jack Latvala more conservative than Joe Negron, it's lost credibility with me and I'll bet a lot of other Republicans.

Charlie Crist's Powerball Baloney: Teachers, Be Warned
Couldn't believe my eyes. I just finished reading Amy Hollyfield's blog in the Tampa Bay Times' Buzz -- "Charlie Crist, how would you spend that Powerball money?"
I wasn't sure whether to pop a tranquilizer or reach for a barf bag.
It's so hard to believe. Charlie Crist is still -- STILL -- engaged in the deception of telling teachers what they want to hear. Same old baloney, but hey, teachers are one powerful voting bloc, baloney's worked before, so why not?

Debbie Wasserman Schultz: Charlie Crist Isn't in Line for an Obama Administration Job
Sorry, Charlie. No big important position in the Obama administration for you.
Apparently.
True, nobody tried harder than Charlie Crist to suck up to the president during the 2012 presidential campaign. Nobody got more photo ops along the campaign trail.
But if you can believe Democratic National Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz -- and this time you probably can because she and Obama enjoy a closer relationship since the election -- the former Republican-governor-of-Florida-turned-Independent isn't in line to cash in on all that loyalty.
