'Yes' to Internet Gambling in New Jersey; Florida says 'Not Interested'
New Jersey legislators gave the final thumbs-up Tuesday to a bill legalizing gambling over the Internet. They already sent the bill to Gov. Chris Christie.
Christie, all for the bill, has vowed to sign it quickly.

Florida Panthers' Michael Yormark: Bring on a Destination Casino!
One of the surprises-to-many of the opening Florida Gaming Congress session -- called "Destination Florida?" -- was Michael Yormark's strong endorsement of at least one destination casino in South Florida. Rick Scott Lists Budget Triumphs
In a morning press release, Florida Gov. Rick Scott cited highlights from his 2013-14 budget and other statistics to show he's scored a fiscal triumph so far in his administration. Here they are:
-- Overall savings in budget: $1.2 billion.
-- 3: Gov. Scott submitted Floridas three smallest budgets in the last decade (adjusted for inflation and population growth).
-- Largest decline in size of state government workforce per 1,000 residents over last 14 years.

Jeb Bush to Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell: 'Grades Propelled School Improvement' in Florida
Just as he did when he was Florida's governor, Jeb Bush -- serving as a consultant -- likely will make a significant mark in restructuring education for success in Virginia public schools.
In a teleconference call Friday to Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, Bush called the grading of public schools a "catalytic converter" for academic improvement and he urged Virginia to follow the Sunshine State's lead.
