With less than two weeks until the primary, attorney Scott Fortune, waging a feisty underdog challenge to U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown in the Democratic primary, has launched his first television commercial in the race. Fortunes commercial features an endorsement from Jacksonville City Councilwoman Glorious Johnson who is running for mayor as a Democrat despite having been a Republican at one time.

Sen. Dan Gelber of Miami Beach sent out an e-mail to supporters on Tuesday accusing Sen. Dave Aronberg of Greenacres, his rival for the Democratic nomination for attorney general, of swiftboating his campaign -- linking Aronberg to Republicans as well as bringing back memories of the attacks on Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry back in 2004.

GOP AG Candidate Jeff Kottkamp Snags Two Endorsements in Miami-Dade

With two weeks to go till the primary, Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp is getting some extra help in Miami-Dade for his bid for the Republican nomination for attorney general. On Tuesday, County Commissioner Joe Martinez and Rep. Eddy Gonzalez, R-Hialeah Gardens, endorsed Kottkamp over Republican rivals Pam Bondi and Holly Benson. Kottkamp has won the backing of many of the county's Republican leaders, including both the Diaz-Balart brothers in Congress.

Jeff Greene-Kendrick Meek Debate to be Webcast at 9 P.M.

Billionaire Jeff Greene and U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek, the two leading candidates in the contentious battle for the Democratic nomination in the U.S. Senate race, are debating this afternoon in Orlando and both campaigns are sending e-mails back and forth.

The debate is being held in the studios of WKMG in Orlando and will be broadcast on that station at 9 p.m. It will also be shown at the stations website at that time.

Dem CFO Candidate Loranne Ausley Takes Aim at Republican Foe Jeff Atwater

Former Rep. Loranne Ausley, the Democratic candidate for the state CFO position, took aim at the leadership of the Legislature on Tuesday -- namely her Republican opponent, Senate President Jeff Atwater of North Palm Beach.

Trailing behind Atwater in the money chase, Ausley stood in front of the First District Court of Appeals building in the southeastern part of Tallahassee and criticized the way the Legislature crafted the state budget.
