With buzz growing that she may endorse Mitt Romney for the Republican presidential nomination, Michele Bachmann insisted on Wednesday that there was no pending endorsement of Governor Romney and she took aim at a Boston Globe article on the topic.

Appearing on Fox News on Tuesday night, Florida Republican U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio said Mitt Romneys big win in the GOP primary in the Sunshine State would help him if he emerges to take on President Barack Obama in November. Rubio has not endorsed any of the Republican presidential hopefuls.

Despite finishing in third place in the Florida primary on Tuesday, Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum insists his campaign is in pretty good shape and shows no signs of leaving the race.

Ed Moore, the president of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida, was tabbed to serve as the vice chairman of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities State Executives and will take over as chairman in 2013. The national organization, which was founded in 1976, represents more than 1,100 private colleges and universities.

The Florida Supreme Court has disciplined 31 attorneys, with 12 disbarred and 15 suspended, the Florida Bar announced Monday. Some attorneys received more than one discipline. One attorney's license was placed on probation, four received public reprimands and two were ordered to pay restitution. According to a Florida Bar release:

However, the results are bound to end up in court.

Gov. Rick Scott has suspended a commissioner of the Southern Manatee Fire and Rescue District who on Jan. 26 was charged with eight counts of sexual battery and lewd or lascivious molestation. Mark D. Ruben, who was first elected to the district in 2000, was charged with molesting three children over seven years, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
