Adam Putnam: 'Florida Chose Mitt Romney to be our Republican Nominee for President'

Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam chaired Mitt Romney's campaign in Florida -- and he offered a statement on Tuesday after his candidate's big victory in the GOP presidential primary.

"Today, the state of Florida chose Mitt Romney to be our Republican nominee for president. He has the private-sector experience and a far-reaching jobs program that can lead this country in the right direction, Putnam said. "Here in Florida, the strength of his organization and his grassroots support demonstrated that Mitt Romney is the strongest candidate to take on Barack Obama in the November election for president.
