Florida's job numbers for May are slated to be released Friday, according to a recent tweet sent by Gov. Rick Scott. The report will be released at 10 a.m. In April, the Sunshine State added 16,700 private-sector jobs, bringing the state's unemployment rate to 7.3 percent. April's unemployment rate reflected a decrease of 0.3 percent from March.

Gwen Graham announced on Thursday that her bid to defeat U.S. Rep. Steve Southerland, R-Fla., won the endorsements of two prominent national Democrats -- U.S. Sen.
