A PAC with ties to Republican strategist Karl Rove waded into the U.S. Senate race in Florida on Thursday, demanding Democratic candidate U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Fla., back more presidential debates.

Shhh! Pope Francis Visits with Nuns Battling Obamacare Contraception Mandate

After he celebrated mass Wednesday at Catholic University in Washington, D.C., Pope Francis popped across the street to meet with the Little Sisters of the Poor — nuns who have been in a long battle over the contraception mandate part of Obamacare.

Not surprisingly, you didn't see it anywhere on TV and certainly, with the exception of The Washington Post, it was scantily covered in the mainstream press.

State Rep. Janet Adkins, R-Fernandina Beach, has been in the news this week for calling on more inmates to be included in U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown’s, D-Fla., district and the congresswoman fired back on Thursday. 

Earlier this week, Politico broke the news about Adkins’ comments to a closed door GOP meeting held last month as she talked about the continued congressional redistricting and how to deprive Brown of African-American voters.
