In the full scheme of Gov. Rick Scott's plans for Florida, the $43 million Eller Drive Overpass Project at Port Everglades is like scoring a hat trick for the state economy: It kills three birds with one stone, the governor claims.

U.S. Rep. Allen West still thinks Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is "vile."
Contrary to late afternoon reports from Roll Call and the Huffington Post, West, R-Plantation, has not apologized for his remarks directed at the Democratic congresswoman, who also heads the Democratic National Committee.

Republican senatorial candidate Adam Hasner's "candid" video segments got a less-than-rave review from one of his GOP foes, Mike McCalister.

"A more appropriate title would be: Adam Hasner -- my transformation from a self-proclaimed 'moderate' to a 'Tea Party conservative.'"
