Ron Paul Backers Launch a Super PAC

The backers of yet another presidential candidate are forming a super PAC.Supporters of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, who is seeking the Republican presidential nomination, launched Revolution PAC earlier this week.

Ron Paul is known for having exceptionally creative and energetic grass-roots support. Revolution PAC will help make some of their best ideas a reality, said libertarian writer Thomas Woods who is on the new groups advisory board. Weve got great ideas for television and radio ads and other things, too that will highlight the congressmans unmatched record and differentiate him from the other candidates.

Im delighted to be on board with Revolution PAC, which is well-placed to channel grass-roots energy and release a professional product in support of Congressman Paul, said Jack Hunter, a South Carolina radio personality and contributor to the American Conservative magazines website, who is also on the board of Revolution PAC.

Super PACs have very little constraints in the amount they can raise or spend, though they cannot directly work with the candidates or political parties they support.
