As businessman Herman Cain was winning over delegates in Orlando during the GOPs debate and straw poll last week, his message was also spreading beyond the tourism mecca.

And likely voters outside Orlando apparently took the same view of the performance of Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

No timeline has been set for Gov. Rick Scott to release his priorities for the 2012 legislative session, but its been reported to be close. The Sun-Sentinel reported last week that his agenda for the coming session would be ready shortly after the GOPs Presidency 5 event last week in Orlando.

Attacking Hasner and LeMieux, DSCC Starts Sweating Over Bill Nelson

Former state House Majority Leader Adam Hasner has reached the big-time in his bid for the Republican nomination. Not only did he win the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) straw poll on Friday, Hasners now drawn fire from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC).

The DSCC released a statement on Monday bashing Hasner and Republican primary rival former U.S. Sen. George LeMieux.

After President's Black Caucus Speech, Allen West Tells Obama to Change or Step Down

At least one member of the Congressional Black Caucus didn't care for Barack Obama's challenge to the group this past weekend.

"President Obama's comments at the CBC dinner Saturday evening, telling the black community to 'stop complaining,' were disrespectful and reprehensible," said U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Plantation.

"With unemployment in the black community at 16.7 percent, Food Stamp enrollment up, and our national poverty rate at epic proportion, the people have a constitutional right to redress their grievances to the government.

A shrewd vendor could have turned a quick profit selling Herman Cain T-shirts after the Georgia businessman scored his stunning straw poll victory in Orlando on Saturday.

Question is, will Republicans be wearing them when Florida holds its presidential primary next year?

Cain may have Andrew Breitbart to thank for stirring up the Presidency 5 convention. The fiery Saturday morning speech by the conservative commentator and controversial news aggregator fueled an anti-establishment fervor that culminated in Cain, the ultimate outsider, grabbing 37 percent of the P5 vote.
