Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday that Judge Leandra G. Johnson of the 3rdJudicial Circuit Court of Floridahas sentenced Dr. Yong Am Park, 68, to two years inprison for Medicaid fraud and prescription drug-related charges.
Park was convicted of three counts of Medicaid fraud, five counts ofprescription fraud, two counts of unauthorized possession of a prescriptionform, one count of scheme to defraud, and one count of selling a controlledsubstance.

The Florida director of a conservative advocacy group is demanding the resignation of the Palm Beach County elections supervisor after reports Tuesday that yet another ballot print snafu has struck the county that Time magazine once called the Capital of Florida Corruption.
The Palm Beach Post reported Tuesday that some 500 faulty absentee ballots were mailed out by Democratic elections supervisor Susan Buchers office. The ballots contain duplicates of three Amendment questions, and omit another one entirely.
During the 112th Congress, Florida District 20 Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz sponsored six bills. With a Congress member's average number of bills standing at 14, that ranks her at No. 371 of 442 members.
