Allen West Chimes in to Congratulate New Florida House Rep. Mike Hill

New Florida House Rep. Mike Hill is being praised by a fellow African-American Republican from the Sunshine State. Former U.S. Rep. Allen West congratulated the new legislator who won a Florida House seat after a special election in the Panhandle on Tuesday.

West took to Twitter and Facebook late on Tuesday to praise Hill.

Congratulations to USAF (ret) Rep. Mike Hill on his very solid victory in the Florida House District 2 special election! West wrote. Exactly the kind of leader this state and country needs.

Faith in U.S. Military Under Censorship Attack

Dont ask, dont tell takes on a new meaning as the Pentagon recently threatened to court-martial any soldier who spoke of his or her Christian faith. Officials went on to say that proselytizing was against policy and would be punished on a case-to-case basis.

Faith in the military is coming under attack. Its a different kind of war fought with censorship, new policies and a microscope.
