A panel of Florida education leaders led by Interim Commissioner of Education Pam Stewart began a three-day summit to discuss the sustainability and transparency of the state's accountability system "to ensure each student has the opportunity to succeed."

Americans don't feel too great about the U.S. health care system these days, and most of them expect it will only get worse over the coming years.
According to a new Rasmussen Reports poll, only 34 percent of likely voters currently rate the U.S. health care system as good or excellent, while 31 percent view the system as poor. Although the results of this poll are generally consistent with recent surveys, positive ratings for the health care system are lower than they were earlier this year.

David Catanese over at the Run is reporting that U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., will be helping out Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinellis gubernatorial bid. Rubio is not the only potential Republican presidential candidate looking at getting involved in the race. Catanese is reporting that U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., and U.S. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, will also be helping the Republican candidate.
Cuccinelli is engaged in a close contest with Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe.
